so to start out no baptism its next saturday because of district
conference but its going to happen and i am still here in san roque
everyone keeps telling me i am going to be here until i go home i feel
like i wouldnt be here if i hadnt talked to president andaya during my
interview but its all good my and elder apat are making things happen we
taught more lessons with a member present this week then i have done in
my whole mission so far the standard is eight and i have never made it
to that yet but we got close this week we taught 7 and hope fully 8 this
week so one thing i want to share with you all this week is no matter
who you are no matter what you have done you can always come back to
church i dont know if you all rmeber but we had an elder go home while
we were in the MTC and most of the time when that happens they go
inactive but not this guy he is back in the MTC right now and will be
here in the greatest mission in the world in about 6 weeks PTM
(Philippines Tacloban Mission) and i can promise you no atter what you
have done you can come back to i have had the chance to reactivate our
old second councilor you all dont know all of why he was in active but
ill just say he has 6 kids and he got a girlfriend luckily right now
everything is normal his kds just went to the temple for the youth
temple trip and they are amazing young Women one of them texted me the
other day because they actually had family payer then i asked her how
she felt and she said now im going to have scripture study and see if
some one wont join me sweet they are amazing even after what happened
with their dad they keep going and they have started asking when they
can work with us too our work is on fire right now we got 2 new
investigators while we were on exchanges with the Dulag elders and we
got a referal for the burauen elders people are just talking to us its
so wierd we dont have to even try to talk to everyone they are talking
to us i love it we paid the electricity bill for some other elders and a
lady asked us mayada ba kamo hn biblia nga free" or do you have bibles
you give out for free so we told her about the BofM and she said can i
have one we need that kind of thing now-a-days and she started reading
right away and we got her phone number and name and we got on a bus and
headed to our appointment im really loveing life right now we had a
training on saturday from the mission presidency for all of the
auxilliary leaders it was awesome my branch president and i went crazy
on sunday after district confference we had a 2 hour meeting and we are
going to like reorganize like the whole branch in the next few weeks and
hopefully give everyone a calling we submitted names for a clerk a
secratary elders Quorem president the whole thing this branch is going
to be amazing soon we just have to keep up the work or itll die really
fast but sunday our district choir was amazing too bad all the other
tenors ended up singing the melody on our second song and i was all
alone and no one heard me but it was still good and we had people take
pictures after but my camera was dead so ill have to get it from another
elder well today was fun i left at nine this morning to go to work i
went to the tolosa chapel and used the phone to call the records office
in manila then ended up going on a special assignment from the district
president to tacloban and he also told me i talk to fast and i need to
try speaking a different language because i am fluent apparently in
warry now so im really going to focus on Tagalog now but we didnt get
home from tacloban until almost 1 then i did my laundry and had language
study and practice piano then played basketball and now its like almost
8 at night and i still feel like i have a ton to do well just to let
you all now i enjoy the letters and im still trying to find out where to
send mail here in tolosa but i hope to find it this week well i love
you all and wish youall the best and remember the prophets keep telling
us family prayer family scripture study and FHE are the way to a unified
home where people want to be ive seen it work and i know it can help
you all with anything you just ned to try well i love you all and friday
i will have been on my mission for a year and i think i got set apart
on like the 10th didnt i so its been a year already but one more
transfer and i will have been in the Philippines for a year and its
amazing and i dont know if it can ever end i am learning way to much for
it to ever stop sorry mom i may not come home lol just kidding there is
